In its modest beginnings, Oaks Construction started out as a specialized custom homebuilder in the Triangle area of North Carolina. In 1983, founder Max Oaks envisioned a company that pushed the envelope; by going beyond the scope of traditionally built homes and creating custom homes that were not only memorable but also timeless. Max developed a building process that was effortless for his customers by relieving the pressure associated with complex building projects and creating a warm, friendly experience.
By using this methodology, the company quickly grew through referrals and repeat business and completed a multitude of residential projects within less than a decade. Toward the late 80’s and early 90’s, Oaks Construction turned toward commercial building projects, starting the Preston Corners office development. Oaks Construction has grown to encompass most of the Carolinas with their corporate office in Cary, North Carolina. Oaks Construction has quickly become an expert in Class “A” medical and professional office buildings, retail, religious/educational, health & fitness and flex/industrial facility construction and development.
